In the “Hamptons”

While watching a movie last night, I paused it after the female main character (FMC) told her story and I put a twist on it. Will, my husband, says wow that went dark….. HURRY… WRITE that down. 

Im the moments that followed I wrote:

“A man has an affair with a woman while away on a “business” trip. She becomes pregnant and has a daughter. Years later the daughter befriends her father’s family over a summer while in the “Hampton.” He comes to visit and sees her, but doesn’t recognize her or know her at all. 

She ends up murdering the whole family in the end with the dad being the last one in unusual and cruel ways. 

Note: the estranged daughter had sent letters but each one went unanswered and returned. This only fueled her rage for revenge. Her mom dies of cancer and she took care of her.”

These stories just come to me out of nowhere like this…. I could have turned this into a sweet little rom-com or hallmark happy ever after, but what’s the fun in that???? I desire to tell a story that is unconventional. Someday I will publish these ideas for all to enjoy.
